Somebody sent me an email complaining that I am "trying to get in the last word" by posting these transition notes.

Folks, it has to end somewhere. Shocked

As Allen Ginsberg notably said, I have seen the best minds of my generation turned to mush by the compulsion to quarrel endlessly on the internet....

In any case, you are all free to "answer" anything I post here on one of the other forums, or make your own blog or whatever. I will be happy to link to your blogs on the new site that will grow out of this one.
